We know life is busy. That's why we take pride in our highly trained Team Members, who are committed to providing you with superb dermatologic care. We strive to make sure you are seen in a timely manner. In situations where there is an emergency or a complicated case, our front desk staff will keep you updated regarding the delay. We all visit the doctor for a reason, and there are times when that reason turns out to be more serious than previously thought. Please be assured that we will give you the same careful attention.

So we can maximize our time together, plan on arriving for your appointment a few minutes early. Please know that if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to fit you in that day. Our automated appointment system will contact you to remind you of your appointment.

We Miss You!

We understand that "life happens". If you cannot make your appointment, please call within 24-hours* to cancel. We will work with you to reschedule your visit. Multiple missed appointments, or multiple appointments canceled with less than 24-hours notice may be subject to a missed appointment fee.
* Mohs surgery appointments require 3 business days notice to cancel or reschedule.

Accurate Billing is High Priority!

We all want to know what we owe, and when it is due. To address that, we use a billing agency to promptly process your claims and bills accurately and efficiently. If you have questions, you can call our billing agency directly at 1-888-245-5337. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our office manager for assistance. Please note that co-payments, payments for procedures not covered by your insurance, and outstanding balances are due at the time of service.

Laboratory Billing: We send tissue to an outside reference lab of our choice for slide processing and interpretation. Patients and their insurance companies may receive a bill from the outside laboratory. Any billings you receive should be handled with the insurance company and the laboratory directly.

Coming Back is the Best for Your Health!

All patients return for skin biopsy results. Biopsy reports are complex and we must correlate the lesion biopsied with the report. Your provider wants to make certain that the biopsy site heals properly and that the pathology report matches what the provider actually sees on your skin. During this visit your provider will discuss the findings with you in person and go over a plan of treatment for you. For these reasons, it is our policy that skin biopsy results will not be given over the phone by unlicensed personnel.

We Are A Team!

Follow up appointments are typically scheduled with our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners unless specifically requested by the Doctor or you. Our physicians work closely with our team of providers in the coordination of your care.

We Are Available!

Calls regarding prescription refills and nursing questions (Prompt #2 on our automated line) are returned between Noon and 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., daily.

For Life Threatening Medical Emergencies you should call 9-1-1.
For True Medical Emergencies, we have a 24-hour on call service. Please use the on call numbers listed below. The provider on call will call you back within the hour. Please remember this is for True Medical Emergencies Only:

Get Ready, Get Set...!

Before coming to your appointment, know the details of your health insurance plan. Know the amount of your co-pay and the amount of your deductible. Please note, that if your Health Plan requires a referral from your primary care physician, you need to obtain that before you can be seen by us. Call your insurance carrier with any questions you have pertaining to your plan. For your appointment you should have your insurance card as well as your driver's license or photo ID. A Special Note Regarding Referrals

If you are insured under an HMO or any plan that you requires you to obtain a referral, you must obtain the referral before you can be seen by our providers. If you did not request a referral, you may either reschedule your appointment in order to obtain the referral, or you may be seen as a self pay patient, accepting services delivered outside your insurance coverage. If obtaining services outside your insurance, a waiver must be signed before the services are rendered. Patient Referral Waiver
